Utah

Utah is a rugged and geographically diverse state that is located at the convergence of three distinct geological regions: the Rocky Mountains, the Great Basin, and the Colorado Plateau. Utah is known for its natural diversity and is home to features ranging from arid deserts with sand dunes to thriving pine forests in mountain valleys.

The Colorado Plateau covers most of the southern and eastern areas of Utah. The area is characterized by broad high country cut by deep canyons and valleys. The western part of the region is comprised of high plateaus such as Aquarius, Fish Lake, and Markagunt. These plateaus are more than 11,000 feet above sea level. Famous Bryce Canyon, Cedar Breaks Canyon, and Zion Canyon are found in the Colorado Plateau area. The Colorado River passes through Utah in the east with the Henry Mountains on the west banks of the river and the Abajo and La Sal mountains to the east of the river.

Wyoming

The Great Plains meet the Rocky Mountains in Wyoming. The state is a great plateau broken by many mountain ranges. Surface elevations range from the summit of Gannett Peak in the Wind River Mountain Range, at 13,804 feet (4,207 m), to the Belle Fourche River valley in the state’s northeast corner, at 3,125 feet (953 m). In the northwest are the Absaroka, Owl Creek, Gros Ventre, Wind River and the Teton ranges. In the north central are the Big Horn Mountains; in the northeast, the Black Hills; and in the southern region the Laramie, Snowy and Sierra Madre ranges.

About Leadbetter Webster

Our Mission is “Client First”, whether a Buyer or a Seller, it is foremost that honesty and the client's objectives are met in every transaction that Leadbetter Webster Land Company is involved in.

Leadbetter Webster Land Co. provides real estate services for Sellers and Buyers for rural properties of all types, big or small such as agricultural, horse properties, hunting and fishing properties and other rural oriented properties in Colorado, Wyoming and Utah. Rural properties come with their own set of unique features which many real estate brokers are not familiar with such as the business end of an agricultural property, conservation easements, minerals, water rights, hunting and fishing characteristics of a property, 1031 exchanges and potential tax consequences of rural properties. Many of these items require special knowledge and it is helpful for the buyer or seller to have a broker on their side that has a working knowledge of these issues and where to go to get the right answers.

These years of experience add up to having a knowledge of what is going on in the rural real estate business. Many times you may be looking for a property but can't find it because it is not actively on the market, but since our focus is 100% on what is going on in the rural real estate market, we just may know where to find what you are looking for or someone that is a willing buyer for your property.
